Automatic channel list
After connection it can request LIST, show channels, user counts and topics, filter them and JOIN with a double click.
Chat and identity
Channels, private queries, nicklist, Away/Back and optional global primary/alternate nicknames.
XDCC Search
Package search with filters for network, bot, format, quality, codec, size, language/tags and duplicates.
Transfer Manager
DCC downloads/uploads, resume, progress, local ETA, XDCC queue information, diagnostics and completed-file actions.
Internal Player
Supported audio, video and images stay inside VETUSTUS with playlists, Previous/Next, shuffle and repeat.
Optional AI

Quick guide
Download the official ZIP package from vxd.mobi and verify its origin.
Extract the package and start the Windows x64 setup.
Configure your primary nickname and, if desired, a global alternate nickname.
Add or select an IRC network and connect.
Open the automatic channel list, filter it and double click to join.
Use XDCC Search to find a package and request it from the bot.
Follow downloads, queues and diagnostics in Transfer Manager.
Open supported media in the internal Player; configure AI and plug-ins only if you need them.

Installation
Download the ZIP, verify the published hash, extract it, run the x64 setup and choose the folder and language.
IRC, networks and channels
VETUSTUS can keep multiple networks connected. After IRC registration it can retrieve LIST once per connection and show a filterable channel list.
XDCC and queues
Gets is provider-reported popularity, not the live queue position. Diagnostics distinguish offline bot, slot waiting, queue, active DCC and resumable transfers.
DCC and Transfer Manager
A download is complete only when received bytes, written bytes and final file size match. Resume and local DCC Send are supported.
Player
The Play action opens the internal Player. Actual codec support depends on the runtime and codecs available on the system.
AI, plug-ins and privacy
AI is optional. API keys belong to the user and are handled by the local vault. Plug-ins do not automatically receive access to the vault or Native Core.

Does VETUSTUS require mIRC?
No. The 0.2 line uses its own Native Core; mIRC is neither required nor included.
Is it free?
Yes. The Beta is distributed free of charge.
Can I use multiple IRC networks?
Yes. VETUSTUS supports multi-network sessions.
Do I need to know /list?
No. VETUSTUS can retrieve the channel list automatically after connection.
Does it support XDCC and DCC?
Yes. Search, pack requests, queues, download, resume and DCC Send are integrated.
Is AI required?
No. It is entirely optional.
Why can Windows show a warning?
The Beta may not have established Authenticode reputation. Verify the origin and SHA-256.
Where can I report issues?
